The Dreamer Idealist

Every single time I take the Myers-Brigg personality I’ve gotten the same result–

David Kiersey who wrote on of my favorite books on this personality typing calls INFPs the Healers. Perhaps this is due to the very idealism that often overwhelms us to see the world a better, happier place.

I’m pretty sure that the former post on here confirmed I’m introverted and intuitive (that is, introspective).

And now, I’m going to share a number of graphics and quotes to show what it means to be an INFP. We’re very idealistic and crazy (on the inside). 😀 And also major daydreamers…

Also, I encourage you to discover your personality type and comment with a quote portraying that type! There are so many amazing graphics for them! 😀

“The thought of falling in love with someone terrifies me. For me, love is all or not. My biggest fear is falling so deeply for someone that feels nothing for me. Or worse, having someone I love take advantage of my kindness.”

“Being an INFP is like constantly switching between the most euphoric, orgasmic, amazing sensations, and the most excruciatingly painful ones to have ever existed, back and forth, yearly, monthly, weekly, daily, hourly, every other minute.”-Anon

“The highly sensitive [introverted] tend to be philosophical or spiritual in their orientation, rather than materialistic or hedonistic. They dislike small talk. They often describe themselves as creative or intuitive. They dream vividly, and can often recall their dreams the next day. They love music, nature, art, physical beauty. They feel exceptionally strong emotions–sometimes acute bouts of joy, but also sorrow, melancholy, and fear. Highly sensitive people also process information about their environments–both physical and emotional–unusually deeply. They tend to notice subtleties that others miss–another person’s shift in mood, say, or a lightbulb burning a touch too brightly.”
— Susan Cain, Quiet: The Power of Introverts

*shifts my eyes to try and snap out of it*

*starts staring off into space in the new direction*
