Love’s Logic {A ruminative poem}

Around you my thoughts entwine

Personal and caressing

In you, wealth dear, a strung line

Between us, Reason redressing

Unshackled by your marvels

Your spoken thoughts which so untame me

Loose upon my world logic

Of unreasonable dreams

And apart I come at the seams

Foregone none but this great sea

Before us, world at our feet

And far above, Heaven’s seat

Observes our earthly fevers
